We have extensive experience in developing and implementing environmental projects and employ community-based social marketing techniques to develop programs that affect behaviour change and achieve measurable, positive results. We have achieved success since 1995 through the development and implementation of a variety of outreach and awareness programming and energy-related services. From 2000 to 2003, Green Venture worked with the City of Hamilton to establish EcoHouse, an education centre and environmental demonstration home open to the public.

Hamilton Coalition on Pesticide Issues • Steering Committee & Education Committee. • The Hamilton Coalition on Pesticide Issues is dedicated to the phase-out of non-essential outdoor use of chemical pesticides in the City of Hamilton in a coordinated effort with the community. • The goals of the HCPI are to provide information about the health risks from pesticide exposure, provide information on alternatives to chemical pesticides and to gain public health protection through a municipal by-law/policy in the City of Hamilton.

Green Venture has over a dozen years of experience in conducting home energy audits under the EnerGuide Rating system. Green Venture continues to offer energy auditing services to the community, even with the disappearance of most incentive grants since March 31, 2012, because it is one of the single most valuable educational tools available to citizens: how to make your home more energy efficient.

Water Community Presentations (2000-) A variety of water-related topics to select from. Green Venture will come to your location and we provide community presentations for all ages and all group types.
