Company founded
1985
Although the present name: Graphcom Printers Ltd. has been used only since 1985, the company's roots go back to Lethbridge's first daily newspaper and commercial printing operation, started in 1907 and then known as the Herald Job Shop. Over the years, the present company has had a number of owners and names: Herald Job Shop, The Herald Printers, Ronalds Federated, Ronalds Western. In 1985 the company was purchased by Gerry and Coby DeHeer from Ronalds and took on its present name, which is a combination of what printing is all about: GRAPHic COMmunications. In 1994, Graphcom was purchased by Jack and Laura DeHeer.
