Description

Grand Valley Specialty Welding Ltd. was established in 1987 to serve the specific requirements of mould and die manufacturing and repair. Precision weldments are produced daily on tool steels that include D-2, A-2, 0-1, H-13, P-20, 4140, 4340, 420, M-2 etc. Procedures are conducted below phase change temperatures allowing tool steel components to be put back into service in minimal time. Weldments range from that on miniature injection mould components welded with filler wires as small as 0.005" diameter under 40X microscopes up to large mould and die sections weighing 11,000 lbs.
