Goward House is a unique and independent community centre offering a wide range of cultural, social, physical and educational activities for adults aged 50 and up. Member initiatives are encouraged, resulting in constantly evolving interesting and relevant programs. Some of these, such as art shows and special lectures, are also of interest to other members of the community. Easily accessible on scenic Arbutus Road and with a bus stop in front, Goward House is also a wonderful location for special events. The grounds are phenomenal with an intimate, landscaped back lawn surrounded by trees. The gardens, the banquet and meeting rooms and the full kitchen are available for rent on weekends. Goward House is also a well known arts venue in Victoria featuring month-long art exhibitions by emerging and established artists.
