They landed in Montreal, overwhelmed by the beauty of this country and kindness of Canadians. But although they had fun in Montreal, Irene, Victor and nine friends decided to pack their bags and start a new journey. Their goal was to “go west” and on a rainy October in 1967 they landed in Vancouver – and so began a new life, new dreams and new ambitions.Go West entered the RV rental industry in 1980. The past 25 years has seen Go West expand from a fleet of 13 vehicles to more than 300, with rental stations in Coquitlam and Calgary. Moreover, Go West has maintained a 5-star product rating for more than 15 years.
