Globe has always put an equal focus on artist management and live-event production, linking the two main areas of the entertainment industry. Through its managerial efforts Globe has managed the careers of highly esteemed international artists with success, reaching major career accomplishments for them. The longest lasting and most important managerial relationship has been with George Dalaras and has lasted for over 25 years. From 2000 to 2005 Globe, in partnership with Miles Copeland, managed the career of international crossover tenor sensation Mario Frangoulis.

Globe Entertainment/Encore Productions was founded in 1983 by its current president, Kosta Kantzoglou, and has successfully instilled itself as a frontrunner in Greek live event production in North America ever since. In time, Globe extended its scope through management and representation of esteemed international artists and through successful productions and presentations of theater, dance and variety shows in venues ranging from the Radio City Music Hall to the Roy Thomson Theater to the highly esteemed Metropolitan Opera House in NYC.

From 1999 to 2002, Globe acted as the exclusive producer of the National Theater of Greece in North America, staging three world-renowned productions in the NY City Center Theater, Medea , Oedipus Rex and Antigone .
