Our mission at Glendale is to provide you and your pets with the highest quality medicine and surgical care possible. We aim to do this in an empathetic and compassionate manner, to ensure a long, happy and healthy relationship with your pet. We understand that you want the absolute best for your pet and we aim to address your individual needs and concerns. We promise that we are committed to what is in your pet’s best interest and we will never make a recommendation for something that your pet doesn’t need.

We can’t comment on how other clinic set their fees, because each clinic sets up their fee schedule differently. However we are always happy to explain ours. Our fees are based on a guideline set out by the Ontario Veterinary Medical Association in conjunction with the Canadian Veterinary Medical Association. They perform extensive research as to what fees are considered to be fair and reasonable and provide veterinarians with a guideline of what should be charged by a “veterinarian with average professional skill, judgement and dexterity rendering services under normal conditions”. Our fees are based on our expenses, which are related to the level of service we provide and our medical standards that we are committed to. We invest more than average on making sure you and your pet gets the highest level of care and service. We set our fees based on our expenses, so we have already set our fees to be as low as we can to be as fair as possible. Anymore and our standard of care would be comprised by discounting, and of course we aren’t prepared to do that.
