The Glanbrook Youth Soccer Club has been providing soccer in our community since 1980. Founded by the Binbrook Optimists Club, there were 180 boys and girls playing in that first year. Games were played at Bellmoore and Bellstone schools and at Valley Park in Upper Stoney Creek. In 1984 we assisted in the development of the new Sports Complex on Binbrook Road, initially with three soccer fields and have since expanded to six fields. Our fundraising efforts permitted flood lighting to be installed on the main field, followed by the purchase of office facilities to better serve the community needs.
