Glad Tidings Academy

Description

Glad Tidings Academy began as Sudbury Christian Day School in 1981. A group of parents who were concerned about their children's education got together with some local pastors to discuss the possibility of opening a private school. After research and a great deal of leg work, the doors of the school were opened. The school has been operating at Glad Tidings Tabernacle for over 10 years and about 8 years ago, the church agreed to enter into a partnership with the school. Since the school's partnership with the church, it has grown in both enrollment and function. We now employ about 13 staff, have an active volunteer base, offer competitive athletics, full-scale musicals, spelling bees, national math competitions and community service programs in addition to excellent spiritual development and academics .
