Givens Engineering Inc. was established in 1993, with its office opening in London, Ontario, Canada. More than 15 years later Givens Engineering continues to provide quality material-handling equipment to its customers. Givens Engineering designs and manufactures all equipment in-house, for better control over quality and deadlines. Currently, Givens Engineering employs mechanical engineers, designers, machinists, millwrights, and controls specialists. With these professionals at hand, Givens Engineering has the ability to design and construct almost any type of material-handling device ranging from 20lb to 100,000lb. Our shop is equipped with milling machines, lathes, CNC equipment, welders, a paint booth and load testing equipment that can handle up to 100,000 lbs. Each of the lifting devices are designed for ergonomics, and fully tested before shipping. Every design is analyzed and certified by a Professional Engineer. In addition to custom devices, Givens Engineering provides installation, start up assistance and Pre-Start Health and Safety Reviews (PSR's for Ontario customers) for all its equipment.
