Girls Incorporated® of York Region is a non-profit youth organization that is dedicated to empowering girls and young women to seek the highest quality of life possible. The programs that we offer are designed to help girls develop to the fullest of their capacities in all areas of life. We actively strive to enhance confidence and self-esteem in girls and young women, while giving them the skills and tools they need in order to be empowered, productive and contributing members of society.

The Canadian Federation of Girls Inc. understands the complexity of girls’ lives and is dedicated to advancing the basic human rights of girls - the right to be respected, self-reliant, healthy, safe, and challenged. More than any other organization in Canada, Girls Inc. truly stands for girls’ rights. In fact, the goal is to ensure that the Girls Inc. Girls’ Bill of Rights SM becomes a reality for all girls.

We provide an all-girl environment, which allows girls to focus on their interests, at their own pace, free from distractions and comparisons. Our programs address the whole girl. They provide her with leadership experience, build her athletic skills and competitive spirit, teach her money management skills, self reliance and life skills, nurture her ability and interest in science, math and technology, equip her with critical health and sexuality information and foster her self-respect and self-determination.
