Whether you have a rush one-off part need to get your plant production back up and running to a 30’ diameter vessel for machining or serial production parts we have the resources and experience to meet your needs.

Since our founding in 1894, we’ve been focused to provide the services and capabilities our clients demand, to realize their goals. From a modest 6 man machine shop in Kingston, Ontario we have grown to have more than 150 employees and three locations in Ontario.

For a shop that measures parts in meters and tons, it’s surprising that the biggest issues challenging Wright are the same as those of small shops across Canada: People. “It’s not an Ontario, problem, it’s not a Canadian problem; I’ve talked to US and German shops that are having a huge issue as well. We find the same thing here. For our expansion, we went looking for 6 to 8 machinists, about ten fabricators plus mangers. Staffing was the toughest part of the expansion. It took us longer than expected and we had to change our sights.

Our machinists have extensive experience working with weldments, castings and forgings in a variety of materials. Our estimation and project management staff enjoy being challenged with new projects and forging strong lasting relationships with our clients.
