Description
Mr. Hines is the Executive Director of the Career Development Centre at the Schulich School of Business, York University. He has over 25 years of senior leadership experience in both domestic and international markets in roles based in Toronto, London and Chicago. He has board and corporate experience in financial management, operations, strategic planning and governance.
Mr. Mendoza has four decades of professional experience in the mining industry, with a strong and diversified background in both geology, project management, mining and mineral processing. Mr. Mendoza has held senior mining positions in both Colombia and Venezuela. He served as VP of Exploration for Medoro Resources, Coalcorp and Bolivar Gold. Mr. Mendoza was VP Mining Affairs at Hecla Mining in Venezuela, a company adquired by Rusoro Mining in 2008. Mr. Mendoza served as President at MINCA, a subsidiary of a Placer Dome JV with rights to Las Cristinas mine in Venezuela.
Mr. Davies is a Chartered Accountant (Ontario) with over twenty years of extensive international and public company experience in financial management, strategic planning and external reporting in resource and other sectors, including senior management positions with Pacific Coal, PetroMagdalena Energy Corp., and Medoro Resources Inc. Mr. Davies was formerly with Clorox Company of Canada Ltd. and also served as Vice President and Corporate Controller at IMAX Corporation. Mr. Davies holds a Bachelor of Commerce from University of Toronto.
GCM has an 60% ownership stake with CIIGSA, a company with over fifteen years' experience in the smelting, testing, analysis, refinement and trading of precious metal. By using the refinery owned by the group, the consolidation of the mining productive chain is secured, starting from exploitation all the way to commercialization.
Mr. Noguera Gomez has been Vice President, Corporate Affairs for Gran Colombia Gold since June 2012. His career in the Mining and Energy sector began in 1993 when he worked with ExxonMobil, responsible for managing the company's public and government affairs strategy, becoming an effective liaison with the legal, judiciary and congressional branches of government. Mr. Noguera Gomez is an Attorney with a Masters in Insurance Law, a certified stock trader and also holds an M.B.A from INALDE.
