Home » HISTORY · The company began with the dream of brothers George and Nick Plesa, who established a two-man machine shop in 1965 called George and Nick ’s Machine Works. This small machine shop provided machining tools for the oil and gas industry, and in the 1970 ’s it began to specialize in producing unique component parts for the industry. This development, coupled with the Plesa brothers ’ dedication to excellence and punctuality, spurred the company to grow and expand. The name changed to GN Corporations Incorporated in 1987 and Nick took full ownership of the company in 1994, appointing his son John as Vice-President of Operations. GN ’s quality system, which is ISO 9001 certified since 1997, is internationally recognized and is key to the door of global business. · In 2007, the company moved into a new purpose built 110,000 square feet manufacturing facility · In 2008, the company received a Certificate of Recognition for its Health, Safety and Wellness program
