Geoff Bellew is a former senior business executive with over 35 years experience in the Financial Services, High Technology and Consulting Services industries. Leading the design and implementation of several profitable, customer-centered and sustainable marketing and business development programs has been Geoff's trademark. Geoff has extensive experience and demonstrated success in the functional disciplines of; Business Strategy formulation and execution, Project & Product Management, Brand & Marketing Communications, Strategic Marketing, Sales, Channel & Partner Management and Organizational Effectiveness. As well, Geoff's progressive leadership style, which has been utilized and honed at Executive Vice President, President and CEO levels, provides a wealth of governance and leadership experience. Companies he has served in a senior executive capacity include: Scotiabank, Manulife, ING, Aegon, and Dspfactory. As a senior partner and co-owner of Future Focus, Geoff has turned his passion towards coaching, and advising organizations, both in the "for-profit" and in the "not-for-profit" sectors to identify, reach, win and retain customers, partners, and employee and volunteer talent in an effective, efficient and sustainable manner. Geoff has always been active in community volunteerism having most recently served on municipal strategic advisory committees, art gallery (Board and Exec), school council (chair), amateur sports (coaching), and Christian studies (teaching). He is currently serving on the Board of Directors and various Board Committees of Habitat for Humanity Canada, Habitat for Humanity Waterloo Region, Faith Life Financial and Grand River Hospital. In addition to Geoff's hands-on practical business experience, Geoff holds an FICB (Gold Medal), a Masters Business Degree from the University of Toronto, and has attended a variety of specialized development courses and workshops in sales, strategy, organizational effectiveness and leadership over his lengthy career. In business and in the community Geoff has established a reputation as being a passionate, trustworthy and responsible collaborator. He has 6 adult children, a spiritual passion to serve God and community, and is constantly seeking ways to actively contribute towards a vibrant society.
