Friends of The Orphans Canada

There are millions of orphaned and abandoned children in Latin America and third world countries in desperate need of help. Motivated by a deep concern for the plight of disadvantaged children, Friends of the Orphans works diligently to raise funds to provide for their most basic needs-food, clothing, shelter and medical care. We support educational programs to prepare children to make their own way in the world and break the cycle of poverty into which they were born. And, we ensure that their spiritual and emotional needs are nourished by providing a loving, family environment in which to grow and flourish. Friends of the Orphans CANADA is a not for profit, tax exempt, nonsectarian organization with the sole purpose of providing support for disadvantaged children in North America, Central America and the Caribbean. Donations come from individuals, businesses, foundations, community organizations and churches of various denominations. We are not a United Way agency, nor do we receive support from government agencies. The mission of Friends of the Orphans Canada is to provide funds and awareness for Nuestros Pequenos Hermanos (NPH). NPH was founded in Mexico by Father William B. Wasson in 1954. Since then they are provide help and family to over 15,000 children. Nuestros Pequenos Hermanos outreach programs, including hospitals and clinics, serve over 30,000 children and adults each year.
