Description
Friends & Avocates Peel continues to offer support to those who have experienced Mental/Emotional Distress resulting in Social Isolation. We provide members with opportunities to develop strong Communication, Interpersonal and Leadership Skills. We offers opportunities for approximately 150 members to develop their Leadership, Interpersonal and Social Skills through over 20 activities per month and training programs.
The Consumer/Survivor Network gives people who have lived experience with mental health and/or addictions the opportunity to come together with peers to shares stories of recovery, learn from one another and provide valuable input into many projects, initiatives and committees taking place in LHIN 5.
