Frank's Swim School

Description

Frank's Swim School is Toronto's oldest privately operated family run swim school. Frank's has been in continuous operation by the Liebmann family since it was founded in 1968. Due to our long commitment to instructor development Frank's has been recognized by the Ontario government as a vocational institution. To our knowledge this is the only swim school in Canada with this designation. Frank's Swim School has been featured in various multicultural and general media for it's long-standing promotion and commitment to the benefits of swim programs for infants, youth and adults. From the very start, Frank's has pioneered the idea that water safety and swimming proficiency are best achieved from a relaxed, happy atmosphere where all students can progress at their own pace and comfort level. Our individual approach to instruction means that we teach all our students according to their own needs and disposition. We have always had small groups (our current maximum is three students per staff member), our instructors are in the water every lesson, and we assign groups according to the needs of our students. Students of similar ability and age are usually grouped together, but provision is made to keep friends or family members together where desired, and usually all children of the same family can be accommodated during the same time period even when they are in different groups and have different swimming abilities.
