Fossil Power Systems Inc. (FPS) is located at 10 Mosher Drive in Burnside Industrial Park, Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, Canada. We have been providing hardware/software systems and services to the international steam power industry for over 25 years. The company's main thrust is the supply of control devices and control systems, mainly for large boilers (over 200,000#/hr). Control systems have been supplied for electrical utilities, pulp & paper mills, food processing plants, agricultural research facilities, and petro-chemical installations.

Fossil designs and manufactures custom skid mounted Blower Assemblies to supply clean combustion air for ignitors. Skid mounted combination starter assemblies for local or automatic control are available as an option. The duplex blower assembly is a commonly supplied arrangement however individual and triplex blower assemblies are also available. Typically, blowers are supplied with isolation mechanisms such as manual butterfly valves and check valves, or with automatic butterfly valves.

The principal design philosophy behind our valves is to provide the user with a premium quality product offering reliable operation and ease of maintenance, even in the most demanding applications.
