Description
The company's main focus is on providing representation to owners in the overall management of capital construction projects. Such projects start in the concept stage and carry though the development planning stages of re-zoning and development permitting to selection and management of the design team. Once envisioned the company provides owners the experience and expertise to professionally manage the implementation of the project.
The Strata Council hired Fletcher Pettis Consultants Ltd. to act as Project Manager providing control and inspection services for this $1.28 million project. The scope of work was the replacement of windows and exterior siding to provide a new rain screen exterior. Rot was repaired and exterior patios and site drainage were improved. Some interior renovation to water systems was conducted.
Though FPCL principally focuses on offering clients independent and professional project management services, FPCL has teamed up with select contractor firms to provide clients a combination of both project management and construction management service. Construction management offers the client the services of a constructor acting as their agent in the tendering of the work to provide an open book method of implementation.
