Flax Metal Arts Studio is a home‑based metal art workshop located on Vancouver Island, British Columbia. Founded by Lorne Flach in 1992, the studio designs and hand‑crafts belt buckles, jewelry, and small decorative bowls using sterling silver, bronze, copper and brass. The artist manages all stages from design through fabrication and vacuum casting, producing unique pieces inspired by natural landscapes and ancient knotwork. Although no longer selling items, the website serves as a portfolio showcasing the studio’s craftsmanship and artistic history.
