Sarka is an accomplished marketing and communications professional, award-winning designer and writer with over twenty years of experience in the international advertising, marketing and media industry. 14 years ago her professional journey brought her from Prague to Boston, and now Toronto. As Creative Director at McCann-Erickson in Prague, Market & Brand, and Dorland Advertising, Sarka developed and launched a number of campaigns for BMW, Gillette, Nestle, Peugeot, Bacardi-Martini and Bata. In the US, she established a new communications division for JKW International in Boston.

Deluxe Toronto is the leader in the feature film market; having worked with acclaimed cinematographers, directors and producers on many Hollywood studio films including: Robocop, Carrie, Resident Evil 3, 4 &5, The Grey, The Thing, and award winning independent films: Barney’s Version, Cosmopolis, Eastern Promises, and Still Mine. Deluxe applies the same level of expertise to current TV projects: Copper, Vikings, Lost Girl, and Bitten.

Everything! I was already a fan of the original. Working with Don Mckellar was a career dream, and also the stellar cast: Taylor kitsch, Brendan Gleason, Gordon Pinsent, Mark lcritch, Mary Walsh who played my mother in my first film, New Waterford Girl . What did you enjoy most about shooting in Newfoundland? The breathtaking landscapes of Trinity bite & the warmth of the Newfoundlanders. Don McKellar directed this film, but he’s also very well known to audiences as an actor.
