Description

Since 1984 Pioneer Industries has been involved in the washing and drying of diesel locomotives and passenger coaches. This technology is a simple step forward from Pioneers previous involvement in large vehicle washing systems such as delivery trucks, semi tractor-trailers and even diverse objects such as military tanks, aircraft wings and combine harvesters.

Specific nozzles are included to concentrate on specific trouble areas such as doorways. No moving parts (except motors) and Low maintenance. Pioneer manufactures its own blowers to exacting standards. The Cyclonic Nozzle has a very long range and effectively removes water while staying well clear of the train. Of course, custom configuration is not a problem: All of our systems are tailored to YOUR situation. Pioneer does it all!. The Pioneer train wash includes all necessary custom made pumping and computer control packages.

Pioneer Industries also manufactures specialty handling devices such as this custom designed tilt 'n load table. We found that the large amounts of bins were causing a handling logistic problem to effectively feed the wash system with a steady stream of bins. Our solution allows operators to load the heavy stacks of bins, and separate them at a more comfortable height ready to slide onto the conveyor.

The patented Pioneer Cyclonic Blow-Off Nozzle is the heart of the automotive highliter delivery system. The highliter chemical is entrained in a controlled cyclone of air, applying a thin coating of chemical. Articulation of the nozzle (via hydraulic motor) allows a large area of coverage per nozzle. This articulation blends the spray pattern for ideal viewing conditions. Pioneers' vehicle highliting systems are utilized usually by the automotive industry to detect dents and imperfections in the body metal.

Pioneers involvement in the washing and drying industry has necessitated various new "wet line" conveyor designs. We design and build custom conveying systems for all manner of different devices and parts. Our designs have hydraulic or electric drive systems depending upon the requirements, speed and loading. Pioneer has produced wet-line automobile/truck conveyors for over 30 years. Starting in the commercial car wash industry, our involvement in these conveyors has spread to the automotive plants for off-line wash facilities and on-line assembly line applications.
