In May 2007, Dave and Randy dissolved their partnership, and Randy became the sole proprietor of First Pass Oilfield Contracting Inc. Randy has been involved in the logging industry since 1983 starting out in Ontario then moving to Alberta in 1991. He has experience of working in sawmills since out of high school in 1976 and oil patch work up until he started managing in 1996. Being of Aboriginal descent, and with over 10 years of business management experience, Randy Mattson has forged strong business relationships with public, private and Aboriginal sectors, at all levels.
