Our investigators are members of the IAAI (International Association of Fire Investigators). We provide instruction and courses in fire investigation throughout the province which promotes a strong working relationship with the public sector. We have the experience and knowledge to review and assess firefighting tactical operations and code issues. Our forensic electrical examiner, Steve Baker, has over 30 years of experience in the electrical and construction industry.

Fire Pro Investigations offers 24 hour service 7 days a week . We investigate and manage complex scenes with large dollar losses, including industrial, commercial and residential structures. Our company has extensive experience investigating marine, automotive and heavy equipment fires. Our unique background includes extensive first hand experience in the fire service.

We are all experienced professionals dedicated to determining the origin and cause of fires. Our investigations are thorough and objective, resulting in solid conclusions based on the scientific methods and methodologies outlined in NFPA 921, the Guide for Fire and Explosion Investigations. We promote and conduct on-going training, teaching and test burns to stay at the leading edge of our profession. All of our investigators have qualified in court as expert witnesses.

Fire Pro Investigations would like to thank Scott Melville for his 4 ½ years as our Vancouver Island based investigator. Scott was a valuable asset to our company and we wish him well going forward. We would like to assure all of our current and future Vancouver Island clients that our team will continue to provide quality investigations that are cost effective and timely.

Our team approach enables us to produce a thorough and professional report based on many years of diverse training and experience as both professional fire fighters and fire investigators. Our business has been established on strong professional relationships with our clients based on mutual respect and trust and early in July 2013, we completed our 1500th assignment.
