Description

The Festival of Words is celebrating our eleventh anniversary. We take pride that our summer festivals and year-round events have presented over 410 talented Canadian performers to audiences of over 20,200 people. In addition to a four-day Saskatchewan Festival of Words that each summer celebrates the many imaginative uses of language, we promote literacy, lifelong reading and creative writing through numerous other ventures. Our over 155 volunteers, our board of directors and our dedicated staff work tirelessly throughout the year to raise funds to make these programs of benefit to all. Each year increased travel costs, mounting rental and equipment charges, and other operational expenses present us with a serious financial challenge.
