Description

The Hillside-Quadra Neighbourhood Action Group is a group of residents and business people in the Hillside-Quadra neighbourhood who volunteer their time to work with the City of Victoria and others on land use and transportation issues. We are the community group that worked with the City to establish the Neighbourhood Land Use Plan and the Neighbourhood Transportation Plan for the Hillside-Quadra area, and its ongoing updates. We work closely with the Downtown Blanshard Advisory Committee, the group that has responsibility for the operation of the Blanshard Community Centre, and also with other groups working to make our neighbourhood a better place to live, work or visit. Our group has been meeting and working for the community for almost ten years, and several of our current members were involved in the original community plan development. We meet at the Blanshard Community Centre at 7:00 PM on the first Monday evening of each month, and at other meetings called or specific purposes. Everyone is welcome to attend. Items can be added to the agenda by contacting the chair in advance of any meeting. This site contains the minutes for Neighborhood Action Group meetings archived from September 2002, and will be updated on a regular basis as new meetings are held.
