Family Outreach International (FOI) is an adoption agency that facilitates adoptions from China on behalf of Canadian families. FOI was incorporated as a Canadian non-profit enterprise in 1995 and has facilitated over 1000 adoptions from China since then. FOI is located in Ottawa, Ontario and has staff in Beijing. FOI is accredited by the China Centre of Adoption Affairs which is China's federal adoption authority and responsible for all adoptions of Chinese children by foreigners. In conjunction with CCAA, FOI manages all aspects of a family's application to China. FOI arranges the China adoption trip and provides a Canadian based escort for the travel group.
