We're often asked whether it's worthwhile for a customer to make an insurance claim versus pay for the repair themselves. Our competitors, on the other hand, first ask whether your insurance company is paying for the repair. Don't worry. Your insurance company representative will inform you if another claim will result in increased premiums, and you will not be penalized in any way for asking. Keep in mind that your deductible is likely to be $300.00, and any repair that costs more (and most of them do) may be covered without your premiums increasing. ICBC provides a chart (see left) that allows you to quickly find out what the impact might be if you submit another claim.
