We have found that the key to helping people achieve and sustain the best possible health lies in openly admitting that no two people are the same. People come to fitness programs from widely differing circumstances with widely varying expectations. Any one-program-for-all offering therefore has little chance of broad success. We suspect that's why so many first-time members of large-scale gyms and fitness clubs get disillusioned and disappointed. They often quit within months, sadly often blaming themselves. We vowed to be different. Our staff, our clients. Individuals all. Executive Fitness Leaders was conceived, built and is operated by people who themselves have widely differing backgrounds, interests and challenges. Some of us are naturally athletic, drawn since childhood to physical activity. Some are more recent converts to health and fitness, people who began to appreciate the need for greater attention to health as they got older. Others are fascinated by the sheer science of fitness, moving naturally into degrees in the human sciences such as nutrition and kinesiology (the study of movement). Still others are healers, whose greatest satisfaction comes not from personal achievement but rather from seeing others freed from pain and discomfort, restored to full health and range of movement. We are a diverse group. Partly by design and partly by experience, we have learned to celebrate and accommodate differences both in ourselves and in others...
