On August 21, 2008 Toronto-based Evanov Radio was awarded Canada’s newest FM radio service for Winnipeg, Manitoba. This new and exciting station marks the beginning of the Evanov Radio Group’s expansion west of Ontario and will join other stations in the group located in Toronto, Ottawa, Newmarket, Brampton, Hawkesbury and Halifax. The Winnipeg station will offer a musical blend of Adult Contemporary and Easy Listening music, along with a very heavy local news component that will appeal to a demographic of Adult men and women.
