Welcome to the Eskimo Art Gallery where we specialize in Inuit Sculpture. In business since 1981, we have gained an international reputation for providing one of the largest collections of Contemporary Inuit Sculpture in Canada, as well as one of the finest. Our gallery is located in downtown Toronto, on the Harbourfront, directly across from the Harbour Castle Westin Hotel. Our closest intersection is Yonge St. & Queen's Quay. As you can see from the images on this website, we have a large, street-level gallery, with the sculptures prominently and beautifully displayed in a wonderful Arctic ambience. The gallery has won three Canadian Architectural Awards with its frosted glass shelving, iceberg pedestals, rough water's edge flooring, tundra coloured berber, and a blue-lit ceiling fissure representing an ice floe breaking away running the entire length of the gallery. Collectively, these effects set the mood for displaying the sculpture in its natural environment. Our collection includes works by the most prominent master carvers of the north, up and coming artists, as well as several promising younger artists. It ranges from exquisite miniatures to collector-quality major works of art. By working directly with many of the artists, we can offer competitive prices; but more importantly than that, we have more control over the quality of the works we handle.
