Description
In 1996 I was challenged by the Quebec Cartier Mining Company to design and develop a lifting device to safely undeck P&H 2100, 2300 and Bucyrus 295 mine shovels in order to perform maintenance to the rotating elements, center pin and revolving frame structure. Shortly after this success, Megatraction Equipment Inc. was founded to manufacture and commercialize the MEGALIFTER®; the first and only patented heavy lift system made specifically to separate an open pit mine shovel.
