Eppleworth

Description

The Eppleworth Adult Centre was created in 1994 by a group of parents of adults living with developmental and cognitive challenges. These parents believed there was a great need for a day program that offered education, physical activity and community access for those over the age of 21. The centre is located in the Community of Christ Church, east of Kennedy Rd. and south of Eglinton Ave., in Scarborough, Ontario. We operate year round, Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Eppleworth offers a safe, reliable environment. Participants learn independence through coaching in life skills, cooperation, family values, physical fitness, and community experiences. Our biggest strength is the commitment and cooperation of parents, staff, volunteers, co-op students, and participants.
