Description

‘In 1990, (we) replaced bucket traps with Enercon assemblies. This eliminated trap maintenance, which helped reduce labor and downtime. It allowed us to reduce overall pressure from about 12 psi to 8 psi. With the increased efficiency and reliability, we reduced startup time from 8 hours to 5. In 1996, we re-tested our system and found all traps working with no appreciable wear.
