Endurance Designs is a new company whose mission is to celebrate the history and adventurous spirit of those people who have dared to venture to the ends of the earth. Our first tribute is to the legend and epic tales of Sir Ernest Shackleton, perhaps the greatest figure to come out of the 'Heroic Age' of Antarctic exploration. Endurance Designs produces high quality merchandise (posters, clothing and cards) based on Shackleton's Imperial Trans-Antarctic Expedition (1914-1916). The trip aboard the ship "Endurance," and the epic struggle after it sank, is considered by many to be the greatest survival saga of the 20th century. The incredible images made by expedition photographer Frank Hurley illustrate this amazing story and bring it to life for us almost 90 years later.
