Welcome to the official web site for the empreintes DIGITALes label. Founded in 1990, empreintes DIGITALes is now considered the reference label in electroacoustics, acousmatics and musique concrete. This web site, in conjunction with our main distributor's electrocd.com allows you to discover many facets of our collection and order our discs online. In 2005 empreintes DIGITALes innovates and jumps from CD to DVD-Audio, bringing the sound's depth and spaciousness from concert halls to the living room of music lovers. DVD-Audio offers very high fidelity with its 24-bit encoding and immersive sound space of home theatre's Surround 5.1.
