FOUNDED IN 1967 by Irving Lubin , EL RAN is a Canadian family-owned company that specializes in motion furniture. Currently run by the second generation, Sheldon Lubin and Eric Abecassis, the company made only one product – reclining chairs – until 1982. The next year marked a turning point, when the management team decided to introduce motion loveseats and sofas. A leader in its field, EL RAN now offers a full range of reclining chairs, loveseats and sofas, as well as a wide selection of stationary upholstered furniture.

EL RAN is a manufacturer of upholstered recliners and stationary furniture, located on the island of Montreal.
