Our new location featured a new 18600 sq.ft. store, situated on 8.49 acres, providing better service for our customers and more space for our growing staff. Throughout the 80s we continued to expand, adding more warehouse space and expanding our yard.

Keray has been with Econo Lumber for over 17 years. Learning the business as a salesman on the store floor, Keray educated himself into an integral part of our house sales and building estimating team.

Econo Lumber saw rapid expansion in the new millennium. We added our first 30,000 sq.ft. drive-thru warehouse in 2005, the first of it's kind in Saskatchewan. Our new drive thru warehouse ensure our building materials are dry and protected from the weather ensuring the highest quality. Our customers can load their products, safe from the elements, year round.

In 1970, Vic Lemieux, a partner and two silent partners opened the doors to Econo Lumber, originally situated at 15th Street East and 6th Avenue East in Prince Albert. Since 1984, after relocating to 1800 6th Avenue East, our business has undergone three major expansions growing from the original 1,130 sq.ft. to today's 75,000 sq.ft. on 8.5 acres.
