Wendy Cherwinski helps people communicate their ideas through the spoken word. For the past 20 years, she has provided speechwriting and presentation writing services and workshops in both English and French through her company Echelon Communications Incorporated Today she writes for clients in government, business and the not for profit sector. She also leads workshops and seminars on how to write speeches and presentations and stands on the podium herself as a public speaker. Wendy draws on a long, rich and diverse background in communications. Prior to establishing her company, she was a newspaper reporter, photographer and military public affairs officer. She has also managed a speechwriting unit in a major federal department, so she knows the demands and constraints of speech production from both the writer's and client's point of view. Wendy produces Podium , a monthly e-newsletter and pens blog available at www.echeloncomm.ca.
