Eastern Shore Recreation Commission

The Eastern Shore Community Centre, operated by the Eastern Shore Recreation Commission, serves the entire community of all ages since 1972. It offers a full-size arena, Community Hall, heated Mezzanine, two maintained baseball fields, and Peace Park. The facility hosts minor hockey, ringette, lacrosse, floor hockey, and hosts weekly bingo and a farmers market. The Community Hall, with a capacity of 320, is used for dances, weddings, meetings, suppers, reunions, and more. The Mezzanine serves monthly meetings, hospitality, parties, and has a kitchen. A dedicated group of community volunteers governs the facility.
