Description

Over the past ten years, Eagle Feather News has been a high-quality, newsworthy publication dealing with topics of interest to our readers in Saskatchewan's First Nation and Metis communities. Contributing writers such as Maria Campbell, Warren Goulding, Dr. Winona Wheeler, John Cuthand, and Winston MacLean deliver smart journalism and commentary to issues such as justice, wellness, business, politics, sports, and the arts. With 12 issues per year and 10,000 copies per issue, Eagle Feather News is the most widely circulated Aboriginal newspaper in Saskatchewan. Eagle Feather News is created, printed, and distributed monthly in Saskatchewan by an amazing network of talented people. Eagle Feather News is a grass roots organization. We proudly sponsor a variety of communities and events in Saskatchewan including the First Nation Summer and Winter Games, the Saskatchewan Native Theatre Company, Back to Batoche, the FSIN Cultural Celebration and Powwow and many other grass root and nonprofit organizations. As well, our staff contributes their time and energy to many worthy causes, speaking in schools, and generally helping to build a better community.
