Description

With his extensive experience in entrepreneurial business transactions, negotiations, and the development of management teams, Mr. Gho provides the overall direction for EPI’s activities. Mr. Gho brought to EPI a broad base of management experience in international trade, high technology R&D projects, property development, product manufacturing and marketing. From 1966 to 1971, Mr. Gho worked in public practice with Ellis Foster & Co., a chartered accounting firm in Vancouver, Canada, now Ernst and Young. Mr. Gho served as controller for Stevenson Construction Co.

Mr. Gho founded EPI in 1991 and since that time has served as its Chair, Chief Executive Officer and member of the Board of Directors. Not only has Mr. Gho been EPI’s primary business leader, he has also been instrumental in the development of EPI technology. He holds patents for TDPA®, as well as the Machine and Method for laying film on the face of landfills, which is an approved cover for use in Subtitle “D” Landfills by the US EPA. EPI’s landfill covers have been continuously deployed for over 10 years at Puente Hills Landfill, California, North America’s largest landfill.

EPI is the pioneer and world leader in oxo-biodegradable plastics technology since its incorporation in 1991. EPI develops and manufactures its proprietary plastic additives known as TDPA® (Totally Degradable Plastic Additives) and grants licenses to plastic manufacturers to use its technology to manufacture oxo-biodegradable plastic products. TDPA® is widely used and incorporated into single used plastic products such as shopping bags and garbage bags. EPI’s daisy logo and brand is widely recognized as a premium quality and environmentally responsible product.

The overall process, from polymer to water, carbon dioxide and biomass is called oxo-biodegradation. EPI is the pioneer and world’s leading practitioner of oxo-biodegradable technology and has the experience and technical knowledge to design additive systems for polyethylene, polypropylene and polystyrene to meet widely varying needs for shelf and service life and degradation performance in a range of disposal medium and situations.

Continue to develop outstanding sales, marketing, and technical support for our customers, licensees and end users, while educating our customers and consumers about the environmentally responsible oxo-biodegradable technology.
