We favour growing businesses that will provide long-term income and employment opportunities in the ELNOS Region.The ELNOS Region is comprised of: The Corporation of the City of Elliot Lake, The Town of Blind River, The Town of Spanish, The Township of the North Shore, and the Serpent River First Nation.ELNOS' mandate is to improve the long-term economic prosperity of the region by assisting businesses which create wealth and jobs. The organization concentrates its resources on wealth generating businesses. The definition of a wealth generating business, is one which exports a product or service out of the region, replaces an import or mainly services a tourist or visitor to the region. The supporting business must also not significantly impact local businesses offering a similar service.
