Description

East Can Transport is a privately owned, for hire carrier, based in St. John's, Newfoundland, Canada. The company started business on April 1, 1991, with one truck and has since grown to a fleet of over 60 trucks and trailers. We provide service in two main areas of the trucking business, being a flatbed/stepdeck operation as well as the auto carrier service.

Transporting overdimensional shipments is our specialty. Our experienced drivers have full knowledge of the requirements with respect to weight distribution, and positioning of oversize loads. Our specially designed double-drop trailers, low-beds and dropdecks have proven very versatile in this area. Escort vehicles, and permit service, are also included in this service.

We will not disclose any personal information concerning our customers to anyone else. We do not, at any time, sell or distribute our customer lists.

Our auto carrier division, transports vehicles of all sizes. Our specially design auto carriers have a load capacity of up to 10 vehicles per load, and are all equipped with factory designed tie-downs for properly securing the vehicles. Our unique enclosed auto transporters are an ideal way to transport the special interest, or high value autos. It is also available for dedicated use for auto shows and exhibits.
