E-Z Kold Manufacturing was first established in 1984 as Nye Manufacturing. It was, and still is today, the brainchild of Marvin Nye, President. Though the company has undergone several changes and is now E-Z Kold Manufacturing, the core ideas have never changed: build the best cold plate conversion kits, offer the best prices and provide the best pre- and post-sales service in the industry. In the spring of 2000, we moved into our new facility located in the industrial park on the outskirts of Picton, Ontario, in the heart of Prince Edward County. Just two hours from Toronto, 1 hour from Kingston and minutes away from some of the best sailing in Lake Ontario. E-Z Kold was the first to offer a 12 volt cold plate refrigeration system , designed specifically for the boating enthusiast. With our commitment to quality and the keep-it-simple philosophy, bearing in mind our customers needs, we are constantly improving our products. Our product line has expanded with innovations such as the new wrap-around box plate that freezes from 4 sides. E-Z Kold, sensitive to the environment, converted to using non-freon refrigerant, R134A, two years before federal regulations required. E-Z Kold products are fully covered by a two-year warranty from date of installation.
