Description

In 1982, Mr. Jean Poulin created the editorial and graphic design house, Piece de Resistance Ltd., which specialized in book production. In 1985, Mr. Poulin founded his own publishing house: Les ditions Duval, Inc. Duval?s first published book was the translation of a handbook for unionized employees. Since then, Duval has published close to 600 works in English, in French and in various Canadian Aboriginal languages. These publications were created for a variety of educational programs from kindergarten to Grade 12. In 2002, Duval absorbed Piece de Resistance. In July 2006, Thomson Nelson acquired les ditions Duval, which then became Thomson Duval. One year later, Apax and OMERS are henceforth our new owners: Thomson Duval becomes Duval ducation while Thomson Nelson becomes Nelson Education Ltd. This evolution has not compromised the attention we give our editorial projects, nor our commitment to respond fully and quickly to your needs. In fact, it?s just the opposite! Duval ducation and Groupe Modulo, now divisions of Nelson Education Ltd., are working in close collaboration. This translates to more choices, and more resources... for you!
