The company's two principals and signing officers, Alan Duncan, President, and Margot Keuper, Vice-President, bring to their customers a wealth of both technical and bibliographic experience acquired by each over more than 25 years in the library automation and database services industry. Al Duncan leads the DSS IT staff with over 25 years of experience in systems development, data management and database services.

Since 1990, DSS has offered a wide range of bibliographic services and products for all types of libraries worldwide. DSS has established a solid reputation for providing a full range of timely, cost-effective and innovative services while also providing unparalleled quality, flexibility and support to all of our customers.

DSS library project staff consists of experienced, fully-trained, professional librarians (MLS/MLIS), cataloguers, library technicians, bibliographic technicians, data entry technicians, and processors. Many DSS staff members have more than three languages other than English to their credit. All project staff members are thoroughly trained on project-specific cataloguing, conversion and processing procedures. Almost all DSS library staff members are cross-trained in multiple ongoing projects.
