Alex Waldin has been actively involved with the Toronto music scene for the past six years, working with such artists as Feist, Broken Social Scene, and Akon. He previously studied with Juno award winning and nominated musicians, producers and engineers including guitarist Ulf Wakenius, starting with violin from the age of three and later transitioning to guitar at the age of thirteen.

The high caliber of musicians that performed at the jam attracted an audience of music lovers who kept coming back for more. When the Jam ended in 2012 many were disappointed. Holiday Décor: During the holiday and new years season the BIA is dedicated to bringing back the tradition of area décor that brightens up the neighbourhood with a variety of beautiful LED light installations.

As a musician, Mike's abilities have taken him all over North America and to Europe, and he has worked with Jeff Healey(playing second guitar in Jeff's rock and jazz bands), blues songstresses Rita Chiarelli and Suzie Vinnick, alt-country phenom Justin Rutledge, and many others, as well as releasing two acclaimed full-length CDs with Fraser/Daley and another two as a solo musician. Mike is a versatile musician, proficient in jazz, blues, folk, rock and country music. In addition to acoustic and electric guitar, he plays banjo and lap steel guitar.
