Doug Swinton has the enviable reputation of being one of Canada's premiere outdoor painters. Born and raised in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, Doug depicts the foothills and mountains of the Canadian Rockies, where he currently resides with his wife Donna and their two boys. He paints the Alberta landscape with powerful movement, light and bold colour. Doug owns and operates Swinton's Art Supply & Instruction and teaches many classes inhouse.
